Best Robotic Mop and Vacuum Combos
The majority of robot vacuum-mop combinations can be customized with an application designed specifically for the purpose. You can save maps of your home and create cleaning schedules and select the mopping mode you prefer. They also let you change suction power and fine tune the amount of water and scrubbing action your mop uses.
A mapping function will help your robot navigate through rooms. An obstacle avoidance feature helps it avoid running over wires, furniture or even stray toys. These features are essential in my house that is filled with toys.
1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is the flagship mop and vacuum cleaner, so it is naturally with features. It's able to mop and sweep in one session and even raise its brushes and mop pads to prevent soft surfaces from becoming too wet. It can also stay clear of obstacles by finding pets, plants, and other small objects.
The maximum suction power is 6,600 pascals. This is higher than any robot vacuum we have test so far. It also has PreciSense LiDAR navigation, which tracks its position, which helps prevent it from getting stuck on objects.
The S8 Pro Ultra's mopping capabilities are also impressive. It can continuously apply pressure to the pad at over 6 Newtons for a thorough clean. It also has an automatic mop lifting system, that will raise the pad as it moves from tile to laminate hardwood, carpets and rugs to prevent getting soaked by these soft surfaces.
The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing and self drying features. The pad can be cleaned and then dried with the dock and the dust container will get emptied and automatically returned to it. automated vacuum means that you can leave it in place and forget it, only having to clean the dust bag and refill the water tank occasionally.
All of this is powered by a 5,200mAh lithium-ion battery. I tested it with its normal mop and vac settings for approximately 160 minutes before the S8 Pro Ultra started to get power hungry and then return to its base to recharge. This isn't too far off of the 180-minute time that Roborock claims and is comparable with other hybrids that I've tested.
It's a well-rounded, capable product. The only issue is that it's pricey. However, its sheer abundance of features makes it a very appealing choice for anyone looking to go away from their old stick vacuum and mop. If you are able to justify the hefty price tag we strongly recommend checking this one out.
2. Dreametech L10S Ultra
The Dreametech L10S Ultra is a high-end robot vacuum and mop combination. Its price is justified by its impressive feature set, which includes an impressive vacuuming capacity as well as two gyrating mops. It also comes with a smart, app-enabled controller and powerful obstacle avoidance technology.
The L10S Ultra is one of the most expensive robotic vacuum and mop sets available with a suggested retail price of 999 euros. In my testing it performed very well in all areas of the home, taking out 98.4 percent of the debris on all floors and managing to lift hair that is long without getting caught in. The mops also performed well with excellent cleaning results with less effort than many mid-range models. This was thanks to their rotational movement as well as an effective dose of cleaning solution.
The docking station is the main selling point of the L10S Ultra. It's multifunctional and advanced. The dock emptys its dustbin into dirt bag, fills its water tank for mopping, and dry its mop pads for you. It also has an in-real-time system for detecting hazards and allows you to schedule regular cleaning sessions with its smart controls.
The L10S Ultra does not offer superior carpet debris removal performance when compared to the other hybrid mop I tried. Additionally, its mops aren't as efficient in removing tough stains like those in the top Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.
Despite the L10S Ultra's numerous top-of-the-line features, it requires regular care and maintenance. To avoid mildew and unpleasant odors, the base unit dustbag, water and tanks must be cleaned and emptied regularly. They also need to be dried. The mop pads sold separately will require changing regularly.
I would recommend the L10S Ultra to anyone with the budget. For those who are on a smaller budget, I would suggest a more rudimentary model that allows you to save money while still enjoying hands-free cleaning at your home. Even if the L10S Ultra was the best vacuum and robotic mop you could purchase however, its price and ongoing maintenance will make it more of an option than a necessity.
3. Eufy S1 Pro
If you're looking for a robotic mop and vacuum that can pick up dirt and dust on your hard floors while taking care of wet messes you should look no further than the Eufy S1 Pro. This powerful mop and robot vacuum combo comes with a strong suction power of 8,000 Pa as well as a massive battery that can be used for both vacuuming and mowing and top-quality obstacle-avoiding. It has a mop with a roller that cleans by itself, making it stand out among other models that require you to return to the base station to wash off the mop pad.
The S1 Pro has a unique mopping mechanism that is a departure from the spinning discs and microfibre pads that are found on other robots. The roller is nearly the entire length of the robot and it gets a constant supply of fresh water that is filtered and ozonated from the dock. While it spins, the roller scrubs your floors while soaking up dirt and any dry debris is removed by the side brushes or swept into the front colision bumper. As with most robotic vacuums and mop sets The S1 Pro is ready to roll out of the box. The S1 Pro does need to be refilled with clean water. This can be done using the cleaning dock. You can also add cleaning solution to the dock if you prefer to have the option of using your own cleaner. If you do opt for this feature, you'll need to purchase the cleaning solution from Eufy which is more expensive than other robot brands that permit users to use their own cleaner of choice.
Like most robots that are available, the S1 Pro did well in accuracy in navigation and coverage tests. It was fast to map a room and it easily navigated around furniture. The only issue is that it was stuck a couple of times on carpets with longer piles and rugs during my tests however this can be improved when the software is updated. The S1 Pro is a very capable all-in-one robot for an affordable price.
4. Roborock Qrevo
The Qrevo is Roborock’s entry-level mop and vacuum cleaner however it has some impressive features. The dock's multifunction emptying the robot's dirtbag, filling its water tanks, and washing and sanitizing mop pads is handled by the dock. The mopping system itself is capable cleaning a good bit of a space before it needs to return to its dock, and the vacuum's extreme suction is capable of removing dirt and pet hair from carpets.
The software that runs the appliance is complex, and offers various options to customize the cleaning process. You can manually clean the entire area that are mapped by this device, or select individual rooms, an expandable zone or a custom routine you've designed. There are several mopping options, including SmartPlan -- an algorithm that utilizes the sensors on the mops to find the most efficient method to tidy your home as it maps the space.
Like all Roborock models we've examined The Qrevo is a great performer in our tests. Its navigation system is reliable that can quickly map rooms and cleaning them in a neat way. The default pathing setting does an excellent job of covering a space, with no major gaps or missing areas. The Reactive Tech hazard avoidance system is quite reliable, too however it's not as advanced as the color camera system found on the Qrevo Master or the S8 Pro Ultra. It can detect hazards such as thick carpets but it might not always be able to detect smaller items such as rug tassels or electrical wires.
One of the biggest flaws of this model is the absence of a mop-after-vacuum option, which could be a problem for those who spend a lot of time vacuuming before cleaning their robot. Fortunately, there's a simple solution: the app offers an option to "clean up" at the end of each vacuuming session. The mopping features of the vacuum to get rid of the dust and traces that were left behind after vacuuming. It's a nice addition and can help the robot to clean up a little bit better than its cheaper rivals.
